From Belfast (N4): Just after the Machadodorp tollgate, take the left split on the N4 (R36 to Bambi/Lydenburg.) The sign now reads "Nelspruit via R36 Schoemanskloof) Turn left at the Lydenburg T junction. Continue along this road for 20km. As you reach the Kwena dam on your right side carry on until you reach the Rustenburg turn off at your left. Carry on with this dirt road for 1 km and turn left at the Kwendaba mountain house sign (BA22).

From Nelspruit (N4): Just after Waterval-Boven, turn right on the R36 to Bambi/Lydenburg. Turn left at the Lydenburg T junction. Continue along this road for 20km. As you reach the Kwena dam on your right side carry on until you reach the Rustenburg turn off at your left. Carry on with this dirt road for 1 km and turn left at the Kwendaba mountain house sign (BA22).

From Lydenburg: From Lydenburg, take the R36 to Machadodorp. Continue along this road for 32km. Skip the first Rustenburg turn off. As you reach the Kwena dam on your left side carry on until you reach the Rustenburg turn off at your right. Carry on with this dirt road for 1 km and turn left at the Kwendaba mountain house sign (BA22).
