Kwendaba caters for everyone. The cottage is overlooking the scenic Kwena dam,
as well as the beautiful Kwena Basin surrounds. The climate is temperate
lending itself to a variety of outdoor and recreational activities to suit all
age groups - birding, hiking, mountain climbing, photography and water sports
on the Kwena Dam. The surrounding mountains offer a large range of natural
fauna such as bushbuck, duiker, vervet monkey and baboon. Make use of a
challenging 4x4 scenic track to reach a ruin dated back to around 500AD, which
was built by a now vanished people. Recommendation: take your picnic basket
with. The Kwena Basin is ideally situated, between Lydenburg and Machadodorp,
offering quick access from the N4 and is less than 3 hours away from Pretoria
